ASLA award

On 13th September, 2010, the ‘American Society of Landscape Architects’ (ASLA) had their yearly award ceremony. Park 20|20 received an ‘Honour Award’ for the category Analysis and Planning. The jury report spoke of a beautifully developed concept with various components encompassing a new look on design in combination with all the aspects of sustainability, planning and cultural integration. The ASLA, an international body, originated from the American organisation of landscape architects. It now has now over 18,000 members whose aim is to promote and monitor their profession via education and publicity. What is central to their work is their participation and supervision where major developments in relation to landscape are concerned.
