C2C Expo lab
The C2C ExpoLAB Foundation was grounded in 2010 by the municipal
authority of Venlo. The C2C ExpoLAB was founded by Venlo to translate their ambitions regarding the implementation of C2C in results and turn the Venlo region in one of the front-running regions in implementing C2C, thus boosting product development, innovation and investments in the Venlo-region.

Venlo is located in the Netherlands and internationally regarded as one of the
frontrunners in implementing the principles of Cradle to Cradle in the
integrated built environment. Venlo was invited to participate in the C2C-BIZZ project, to share the knowledge and information that was already built with the other C2C-BIZZpartners.
To this end C2C ExpoLAB will ground a virtual and physical C2Ccentre.
The C2C-centre will become a platform where C2C-experts and enthusiasts
can meet and share knowledge and experience in implementing the principles
of C2C, or post dilemma’s or questions. Furthermore the C2C-centre will offer
a workflow so C2C- enthusiasts can implement the principles of C2C relatively
easy and use the community and the knowledge and experience that is
gathered in the C2C-centre, as well as an knowledge and documentation
centre and a multifunctional area.
C2C ExpoLAB is adding momentum to development of knowledge in the area
of Cradle to Cradle and innovation. It does that by documenting C2C working
processes and solutions and making them available to interested parties. The
principles of open innovation form the starting point in these processes. To
that end, the foundation is developing a C2C knowledge and educational
infrastructure in the area, in which the C2C chair of learning at the University
of Twente stands central. This will form the basis for integrating C2C in the
curricula of the education institutions in the Venlo region
