Innovation platform

To keep  ahead in the development of the the latest Cradle to Cradle and sustainable solutions, Park 20 | 20 has access to an innovation platform. Alongside various organisations, NGOs, universities and 20 | 20 innovation partners,
Park 20 | 20 focuses on continuous innovation and its application  within the park. In our design we identify four key principles:

1. Design for disassembly

In all the buildings that we realise the premise is that they are all  designed for disassembly.Once a building has reached the end of its life cycle its parts can be dismantled and re-used. The buildings are therefore not "worthless" but provide revenue at the time of disassemly. The materials of the variouscomponents are re-used or serve as a source for other projects. The value of the various components will be included in the new development(s). Together with the client we determine the design and value and from there agreements are made with suppliers. This  design strategy means that building  values increase due to an increased residual value.

2. Productivity and HEALTH

Many buildings often contain a variety of chemicals that are not always good for human health or the environment. In addition, work environments often have an unhealthy indoor environment. Arizona State University has studied what makes a building a pleasant  environment to work in (read more). Incorporated in their study were the absenteeism rates, concentration and overall sense of well-being of the employees. The research shows that buildings at Park 20 | 20 increases employee productivity and reduced absenteeism.

3. BIM / MATERIAL banking

With Building Information Modelling , or the information management system, we identify and define our buildings based on : what materials are applied , the amount of material used and howthe building can be dismantled. Each individual building is considered a so-called materials bank and gets a materials passport. In this way, we determine the future residual value of the buildings

4. Products of service

We are working more frequently  with products of service. This is in effect the leasing of products, rather than their  purchase. In this way the customer is assured of the latest innovations and the total cost of acquisition is reduced. We are guaranteed  that used products are re-used as much as possible.Together with our 20 | 20 innovation partners, we devise creative and effective solutions for these applications.

20|20 innovation partners

Cooperation is very important for Park 20 | 20. At various levels and with different organizations, customers and universities.

We have a lot in common; we want to be successful and sustainable, inspire and add value to society. We seek long-term solutions to mutual interests with an eco-friendly and ergonomic character. For a cleaner and more beautiful future! We offer partners and preferred suppliers the opportunity to participate in all our new projects.
