Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Mid 2011 Forehand has started the policy related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). With this action taken, Forehand aims for more sustainability within our own organization and for our employees. Besides this we try to stimulate our partners in the same direction too. The fundament of this policy are measurements and objectives related to People, Planet and Profit (3 P’s).
It is important to think about the fact that CSR is not purely an objective but a continuing process of measurements that will lead to improvement in the area of the 3 P’s. The CSR manual of Forehand is the fundament of our environmental policy. Specific objectives which has been reached or need to be reached in the future, will be published on our website. We hope that by this step, we will stimulate others to set the same objectives.
Sponsoring Cradle2Cradle pavilion
In close corporation with Siemon (manufacturer of certified network infrastructures), Forehand has become an official sponsor for the Cradle2Cradle pavilion. The pavilion is part of the business park Park 20|20, that will be developed in the coming years in Hoofddorp. The network cabling of Forehand/Siemon will be used in the pavilion.
Forehand and Siemon: focus on sustainability
Forehand and Siemon have a strong focus on sustainability. Both companies underwrite the principle of CSR and “green” policy and take action to improve. Besides this, we will be able to inform interested end users about how the right network cabling can contribute to a “green” building. The project of Bosch/Siemens (as well part of Park 20|20) is an important example to prove this. The principle of sustainability of Forehand and Siemon leads to a dynamic process in both organizations.
