Highest Point FOX Vakanties
19th September 2011 - Today celebrations took place to mark of the reaching of the highest point of the new headquarters of FOX Vakanties, Park 20|20’s second tenant. FOX Vakanties, a 100% daughter company of ANWB, is expected to move to the new business park in Beukenhorst in Hoofddorp at the beginning of 2012. ANWB will become the new owners of the building. The building which is going according to planning has a BREEAM score ‘’Excellent, the highest possible sustainability rating. It has in total approximately 3.550 m2 f.s.a. and 77 parking places, is being developed by Park 20|20 cv, a partnership between Delta Development Group, Reggeborgh and VolkerWessels. IBB Kondor, a subsidiary of VolkerWessels is the construction company.
Following a warm welcome on behalf of Park 20|20 by Coert Zachariasse, several speakers also took the opportunity to thank and wish the builders continued success with construction of the new building. The speakers included alderman Arthur van Dijk of the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer, Maarten de Ruiter, Director of FOX Vakanties and Guido van Woerkom CEO ANWB. Afterwards the future users of the building then had the opportunity to take a firsthand look at their ‘’new work place.’’
Beside the building’s normal function as an office it also houses a special ‘’travel’’ theatre which FOX Vakanties will use to host a variety of events. Its separate entrance will also allow 7 days a week availability for third party use.
