Rheinzink
For over 40 years the RHEINZINK Group has produced top-quality titanium zinc at its Datteln (Germany) site offering three different natural finishes: bright-rolled, "preweathered pro blue-grey" and "preweathered pro graphite-grey". As the first manufacturer of construction zinc in Europe, RHEINZINK replaced the traditional pack-rolling process with new, innovative technology - the continuous wide-strip casting and rolling mill. RHEINZINK is used as a sustainable and long lasting roof and facade cladding. Thanks to its durability and high recycling rate RHEINZINK is also the preferred choice of material for classical roof drainage systems using gutters and pipes. RHEINZINK is present in 30 countries around the world.
There are not many other materials with such a favorable environmental life cycle assessment as RHEINZINK: The amount of energy required to obtain and process zinc is extremely low. Emissions are kept to a minimum thanks to state-of-the-art production facilities. RHEINZINK products can be recycled 100%: due to the high residual value, RHEINZINK is recycled for more than 95%. Since March 2009, all RHEINZINK products are Cradle to Cradle Silver certified.
